Account Manager

Ten Bridge Communications has created a new kind of agency, and we support a growing number of biotech companies who rely on us to deliver strategic, creative, and tactical support that reflects a deep understanding of the industry. Our clients include many of the most innovative biotech companies at the cutting edge of new modalities such as genome editing and precision medicine. Our services include corporate branding and positioning, media relations, social media, investor communications strategy, employee communications, and scientific communications. Ten Bridge Communications is seeking a highly collaborative, energetic, and confident individual with 3+ years of communications experience to join our team and work with professionals who are recognized leaders in the biotech communications space.

Note: This role is located in our Boston headquarters and we are considering local candidates at this time.

The Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Helping to support Ten Bridge efforts across multiple client accounts, working with senior account leaders to implement the full range of client responsibilities
  • Ensuring smooth, timely and accurate project management across accounts and multiple, simultaneous projects, proactively keeping account leads and teams updated on progress and potential challenges
  • Developing content for a wide range of client projects, including social media and website content, press releases, and media materials
  • Coordinating and executing partner-based projects (e.g., patient videos or b-roll)
  • Conducting media outreach
  • Creating and implementing social media strategies
  • Managing client and internal Ten Bridge Communications review process
  • Working collaboratively with our creative project manager to align on project variables and timelines
  • Helping lead and participate in daily and weekly client interactions and meetings
  • Developing a deep understanding of the multiple aspects of our work
  • Offering support and guidance to Communication Associates
  • Administrative support for all aspects of firm business

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of communications or public relations experience, agency experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s in communications or related discipline
  • An eagerness to immerse oneself in the biotech industry
  • The proven ability to understand technical subject matter, and convey its essence through written and verbal communications

Designer

Ten Bridge Communications is looking for a Designer for its fast-paced creative team. The ideal candidate is someone with a well-rounded background who has an enthusiastic passion for design, and a creative flair. This individual is an excellent communicator with a keen attention to detail, excels at handling multiple client needs simultaneously, and is willing to make changes to creative projects based on constructive feedback. A strong working knowledge of an agency creative department is a plus.

The Designer will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out the efficient visual execution of creative concepts, as outlined by Creative Director
  • Maintaining and evolving, as necessary, visual standards for design and content design
  • Conceptualizing, designing, and producing creative content
  • Working across all aspects of creative, design and production of visual communications from concept to completion
  • Providing guidance to others on creative and communications team

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of design experience in a design or creative position, agency experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, graphic design or related field preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of, and ability to use, applicable computer applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Sketch
  • Excellent visual/conceptual skills

Account Director

The Account Director at Ten Bridge Communications will be a key leader in all aspects of a rapidly growing, fast-paced agency that is working with the leading companies in biotech and healthcare.

We hire and value directors from many backgrounds and help them build the full skill set they need for success. As we build out our team, we are looking for directors with deep media experience; directors with strong agency backgrounds; directors with expertise in digital campaigns; and/or directors with excellent science writing skills.

Note: This role is a remote-friendly position and can be based in any US location. Our HQ is in Boston, MA and some travel may be required.

The Account Director will be responsible for:

  • 5+ years of experience in an agency or in-house communications role
  • Proven ability to immerse oneself in our industry and the world-changing work of our clients
  • Passion for building value for clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical spaces through highly strategic communications approaches
  • Ability to lead and inspire a talented staff of motivated professionals at all levels
  • Experience formulating successful strategies for and utilizing digital communications channels, such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Google AdWords
  • Strong writing and editing abilities and demonstrated aptitude in adapting writing style to fit a given audience or application (media, web, internal, etc.); proficiency in AP style preferred

Ten Bridge Communications has an exciting opportunity for an Art Director to join its fast-paced creative team. The ideal candidate will preferably have both in-house and agency experience, and a desire to lead collaborative work to support a diverse portfolio of clients and the patients they serve. This individual will lead the development of brand, web, interactive, and print solutions for our partners at the forefront of drug discovery and development.

The Art Director will be responsible for:

  • Leading teams through the ideation and execution of a dynamic range of creative projects, including branding and identity, web design, digital, social media, patient engagement, and investor decks
  • Translating complex scientific concepts into innovative design solutions
  • Presenting creative concepts to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Facilitating collaboration with account teams, developers, and TBC leadership, as well as fostering strong teamwork within the creative group
  • Building strong relationships with our clients by establishing credibility and trust

What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years experience in a design or creative position
  • Bachelor’s degree, graphic design or related field preferred
  • Extensive experience in creative programs including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and related products), and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent visual/conceptual skills with experience in branding and identity
  • Strong digital background with web design experience; preference for UX mindset
  • Genuine interest in science and the unique needs of biotech clients
  • Ability to present design thinking to clients and internal stakeholders
  • An openness to constructive feedback, with the ability to implement edits to client presentations, update client website content and social media posts
  • Well-organized and able to think systematically about interlocking projects and goals, with project management experience (Asana a plus)

The Vice President will be responsible for:

  • Guiding communication strategy for clients through key moments in their growth and progress; financing events, clinical trial starts
  • Identifying and securing opportunities to grow existing client accounts and fostering highly collaborative long-term client relationships

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive patient engagement approach and strategy
